Excursions on 11 June 2026

The excursions will take place on 11 June 2026 from about 08.30 to about 16.30 with expert guidance in German and English. The starting and ending point is in front of the conference hotel.

Date: 11 June 2026

Start: approx. 8:30 a.m. in front of the Hotel MOA

End: approx. 4:30 p.m. in front of the Hotel MOA

The four excursions will have thematic focuses and about 4-6 objects in Berlin will be visited each. Lunch is included in the price.

Participation in the excursions is only possible in conjunction with attendance at the congress on 09 and/or 10 June 2026.

We plan to visit the following sites; an additional 1–3 sites will be added. We reserve the right to make changes.


  • Excursion 1: Green roofs
Accessible and usable intensive green roof on an office building. The roof area is used for multiple purposes.
 Biodiversity green roof added to an existing residential building.


Intensively greened underground parking garage, designed as a retention green roof and serving as a usable courtyard for a residential complex.
 All combined: Solar-biodiversity-retention green roof on a new university building.



  • Excursion 2: Facade greening
Two types of green facades on an office building: floor-mounted with climbing plants on frames and wall-mounted (vertical).
 Historic building used as a residential building with wall-mounted green facades in a rack construction, greened on the exterior and in the courtyard.

  • Excursion 3: Indoor greening

  • Excursion 4: Greening of buildings (roof, façade and interior greening)
